Alexandre de Senarclens has been President of the Geneva International Motor Show since July 2023. Alexandre was born in Geneva in 1975. He holds a law degree from the University of Fribourg and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Georgetown University in Washington DC. He has been a partner in a Geneva law firm since 2010. In parallel to his legal career, he has been politically active in Geneva since 2003. He has been a member of the “Grand Council” of the Canton of Geneva since 2013. Besides, he was President of the PLR political party in Geneva from 2015 to 2019.
The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) has been a springboard for the future of mobility since 1905. It is widely recognized as the most important motor show in Europe and one of the most prestigious and influential in the world. With the launch of GIMS Qatar, the Geneva International Motor Show has extended its brand to a new location, Doha.
